Pancreatic Cancer UK ‘Spring Supporter Draw’ Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Publishing terms

1. Our prize draws and competitions are organised by Pancreatic Cancer UK, Queen Elizabeth House, 4 St Dunstan’s Hill, London EC3R 8AD.

2. The ‘Spring Supporter Draw’ will hereby be referred to as the ‘Free Prize Draw’ in these terms and conditions.

How to enter

2. You will be entered into the Free Prize Draw if you are a Pancreatic Cancer UK Weekly Lottery player with active entries in the draw and have clicked on the link in the email communication we sent to you announcing the draw or you can email lottery@pancreaticcancer.org.uk direcly. You are not automatically entered into the Free Prize Draw. If you click on the link in error, you will need to contact either Pancreatic Cancer UK Supporter Care Team, or Unity Lotteries and we will manually remove you from the draw.

3. The Free Prize Draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

4. Pancreatic Cancer UK will not accept responsibility for prizes that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any email or postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. This includes if incorrect bank details are provided, and we are unable to process prize payment.

5. Pancreatic Cancer UK reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

6. Unless otherwise stated, the Free Prize Draw is open to all active players of the Pancreatic Cancer UK Weekly Lottery.

7. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over and reside at a valid address within Great Britain.

8. Each Pancreatic Cancer UK Weekly Lottery player is permitted one free entry each into the Free Prize Draw. If you have more than one active number in the Pancreatic Cancer UK Weekly Lottery this does not denote additional entries into the Free Prize Draw.

The Draw

9. The draw will take place on Thursday 22nd May 2025.

10. A winner will be chosen by a random number generator, witnessed by two employees of Pancreatic Cancer UK. Players will be allocated a number that is not your Weekly Lottery number, so that no personal details are used to determine a winner.

11. The winner will receive details of the prize. The winner will be notified by telephone in the first instance, using contact information provided when signing up to play the Pancreatic Cancer UK Weekly Lottery. If we cannot contact you via phone, an email will be sent. We will endeavour to contact you within 7 days of the winner being chosen to confirm the prize amount and collect bank details securely to arrange for the Pancreatic Cancer UK Finance team to process payment to you of the prize.

12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative is offered. Pancreatic Cancer UK reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the charity’s control makes it necessary to do so.

13. If bank account details are incorrect or not confirmed within six months of notification of winning, the prize will be considered unclaimed and will be treated as a donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

14. The decision of Pancreatic Cancer UK regarding any aspect of the Free Prize Draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

15. Pancreatic Cancer UK reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Prizes

16. There are three cash prizes to be won. Prizes are issued as follows:

(a) First prize - £200

(b) Second prize – one prize of £150

(c) Third prize – one prize of £50

Limitation of liability

17. Insofar as is permitted by law, Pancreatic Cancer UK, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Pancreatic Cancer UK, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data protection and publicity

18. Pancreatic Cancer UK is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Charity’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website: https://pancreaticcancer.org.uk/privacy-policy/

Governing law

19. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

20. Pancreatic Cancer UK reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
